Tonics no longer make noise in a town or outpost.
Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! That was easily the most annoying thing about being in a town.

I get the idea that the updates for the Assassin is Anet subtly saying "Hey, play the damn class with the weapons we intended it to be played with". I prefer dagger chains to using a scythe on my Assassin anyway, so I'm fine with that
Yay Dervish changes, though none of them are anything I really use. However it's nice to see some attention paid to that profession. Now just do something to Mysticism to make it more useful.
And Comfort Animal = FTW. Now I might actually bring along a pet.

Less damage, slower recharge, same benefit (no blocking), without ending a stance.
Now, I'm not familiar with the use of that particular KD chain, but I'd think with a IAS the half a second wouldn't make a difference.

I'm fully aware of why they didn't change BM for PvP, that's why I said it was good nonetheless. Perhaps I didn't use the best wording, but whatever.

*Looks at Mshot*
*foams from mouth*
*has heart attack*
*recovers and wonders why Anet never thinks through skill changes or adjusts skills slightly so they are still good without being overpowered*
*continues to wonder how anyone could think Mshot was OP when it was just ever other elite bow attack that was underpowered (Punishing Shot, Poison Arrow, Crip Shot)*
*Loses faith in Anet skill balancers*
Edit:
*sees pet buff and faith restores slightly*
Too bad Comfort Animal buff only applies to PvE. Oh well, my pet might see some PvE time now.
*remembers shitty pet AI and how it wasn't updated*
Thanks anway for the update Anet.
Mshot didn't need a nerf, though. Every other ranger elite just sucks.

I'm gonna start using Masochism instead of Signet of Lost Souls on my Discord necros now. Better minions, higher minion cap, more damage from Death Nova, more damage from Discord, more Soul Reaping for more energy management.
Worth the tiny sacrifice imo.

The water magic buffs should be interesting for PvP. Flag runners + winter's embrace could be quite ouch. Slippery Ground looks like a decent way to knock down rangers in your base, or enemy warriors. I mean, the two together are better than one meteor to the head, or at least it seems so on paper?

I agree. It's funny how so many people think that an additional 2 points in death magic/soul reaping are going to make their powerful builds omgwtfbbqCRAZYYYYYYYY.
Oh well. PvErs like bigger numbers, so ANet are doing a good job at that.

Yeah ummm... Sin spike much? Some of these buffs make already good chains into great ones...
Pet buffs uhhhh, YAY! Once again, something that's been called for since forever has finally been done.
I do apologize to the PvP community, as I can see this seems to be another heavily PvE centered update. However, as a PvE-er, I'm pretty excited at some of the prospects.

(It's only been 4+ years.)
I am cautiously impressed with the entire thing. Won't advance more opinion until after I try some of the new-and-improveds out.

OH MY GOD SAND SHARDS!!!
AWSOME!!!
i hope it uses the same animation as Varesh uses with Earth Vortex!!!
Invoke Lightining and Chain Lightning needed that buff! Awsome!
Im finding these pve updates ackward.. i dunno, its kind of losing the GuildWars aspect of it.
Well, it all started with Hard Mode, but lets not get into that.
Glad to see some changes to some other skills, it feels good for players like me who plays with 7 different characters to have new build options.
